About Kinder Island

Our original intention:
Fate is a wonderful thing

Our family comes from three countries, blending Spanish passion, Taiwanese warmth, and local London charm. The world is so big, and by sharing multicultural experiences, we aim to create a space where adults can accompany children as they grow, and where parents and children can explore diverse learning together. It is distinctive and meaningful.

Inspiration:
(You only truly understand your parents once you become one yourself.) Like you, after becoming a parent, we always want to give our children the very best.
As a mother, I deeply understand that in daily life, within limited space, it is not easy for most people to manage a household, maintain quality of life, and organise a children’s play space at the same time.

“Why can’t we create a space where children can freely explore, while parents can relax gracefully?”
Because of this simple idea, “Kinder Island” was born.

Purpose:
A shared “playroom” where adults and children come together.

Achievements:
Here, children don’t just play—they create with their hands, experience different cultures, and discover the world, sparking unlimited creativity.

Most importantly: caring for children is hard work—you’re doing great‼️ Parents also need a break. It’s okay to set down the sweet burden for a while and let children learn through play.

Hope:
We truly look forward to meeting you at Kinder Island, sharing this love and passion from our Spanish-Taiwanese family. You are warmly welcome to bring your children to our island—come play happily, and go home relaxed!

Teacher Sylvia (she/her)

Hi, I'm Sylvia! I'm a creative and caring early years educator with a passion for helping children explore the world through play, language, and culture.

I’m currently working in a nursery, where I support children’s learning through playful, hands-on experiences. I love seeing their curiosity come to life through stories, music, art, sensory play, and creative activities. Whether we're learning new Mandarin words, making crafts together, or exploring traditions from around the world, I believe every playful moment is an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow.

I believe children learn best when they feel safe, valued, and free to explore. My hope is to inspire little learners to be curious, confident, and kind, while nurturing an appreciation for the many cultures that make our world so beautifully diverse.

I look forward to welcoming your family and sharing many joyful adventures together!
